Interesting interview with living legend, Kevin Roche. The article includes some photos of the renovated American Wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.
While working at my previous firm, I was the project engineer responsible for the structural design.
The work included extending the main wing vertically, adding a new display level above and excavation of a new basement level below the original slab on grade.
