Ongoing construction on 105 unit, 107500 sq ft 10 story residential building at 1077 Summit Ave Bronx NY

ADoF provided the structural design for the hotel complex. 6 story hotel residential tower over 2nd floor platform ( out door pool deck, bar and restaurant complex).
The project utilized flat plate concrete floor slabs to maximize ceiling ht, and required long span framing over the ball room , pool area and rooftop bar.
Tricky hydrostatic conditions in the cellar/basement and parking areas had to be overcome.
We wish the ownership, hotel employees the best of luck and hope they are successful. A great addition to the neighborhood

ADoF provided structural engineering services (2015 to 2019) for the alteration/vertical extension at 852 St John's Place. The original townhouse was a 1880's 3 story rowhouse (typical wood joist to brick masonry party walls) and was in poor condition prior to the renovation. project utilized passive house detailing and building systems.
ADoF is currently working on several Passive (haus) projects and actively encourages our developers/designers to consider utilizing these systems.
